英語演講稿1
I am chinese. I am proud of being a chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. I've learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. I've learned about the great wall and the yangtze river. I've learned about zhang heng(張衡)and I've learned about zheng he(鄭和). Who says the yellow river civilization has vanished(消失)?i know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇跡)on this fertile land and we're still ma-ki-ng miracles. Who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our gnp ranks no. 7 in the world? we have experienced the plunders (掠奪) by other nations, and we have experienced the war. Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----china, unyielding and unconquerable!
I once came acroan american tourist. She said, “china has a history of five thousand years, but the us only has a history of 200 years. Five thousand years ago, china took the lead in the world, and now it is the us that is leading. ”my heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise (鄙視) ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to say proudly: we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑戰(zhàn)) are great, but our will is evengreater.
英語演講稿2
However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
英語演講稿3
I like all kinds of outdoor sports. Such as playing table tennis, basketball, climbing the mountains, travelling, reading books and so on.
Of all the hobbies, I like traveling best. I often go to other provinces with my parents during the holiday. Last year we went to Emei and visited Yunan Provice. I can learn different culture and peole when I travel. I can taste lots of local food, too.
on weekends I like playing basketball with my father or my friends. When I play basketball, I forget all my worries and it can make me happy and keep fit. I want to be a basketball star like Yaoming.
Hobbies are very inportand in our lives. When I am free, I like reading books. I get lots of knowledge from them. Books are like my good friends.
英語演講稿4
Hold Fast To Your Dreams
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.
英語演講稿5
Death. old age. Are words without a meaning. That paby us like the idea air which we regard not. others may have undergone, or may still be liable to them-we "bear a charmed life“, which laughs to scorn all such sickly fancies. As in setting out on delightful journey, we strain our eager gaze forward-bidding the lovely scenes at distance hail!
And see no end to the landscape, new objects presenting themselves as we advance; so, in the commencement of life, we set no bounds to our inclinations. nor to the unrestricted opportunities of gratifying them. we have as yet found no obstacle, no disposition to flag; and it seems that we can go on so forever. we look round in a new world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseleprogress; and feel in ourselves all the vigor and spirit to keep pace with it, and do not foresee from any present symptoms how we shall be left behind in the natural course of things, decline into old age, and drop into the grave. it is the simplicity, and as it were abstractedneof our feelings in youth, that (so to speak) identifies us with nature, and (our experience being slight and our passions strong) deludes us into a belief of being immortal like it. our short-lives connection with existence we fondly flatter ourselves, is an indissoluble and lasting union-a honeymoon that knows neither coldness, jar, nor separation. as infants smile and sleep, we are rocked in the cradle of our wayward fancies, and lulled into security by the roar of the universe around us0we quaff the cup of life with eager haste without draining it, instead of which it only overflows the more-objects prearound us, filling the mind with their magnitude and with the strong of desires that wait upon them, so that we have no room for the thoughts of death.
英語演講稿6
Love is easily perceivable and perceptible. Flattery words may be cheatable, but true love and false feelings can easily be distinguished. If the people you love only know how to spend your money, you should be careful of them. Everyone can help you spend your money if you give them the chance. Never turn your love into the slave of money.
love should be selfless, and feelings should be sincere. We shouldn't judge our feelings according to the distance of the relationship. everyone treasures love and nobody can fool himself or the others. A chinese saying goes: real heroes yearn even more for true love, and great men cherish tender love for their children.
We are the saint on earth, and should treasure our love, but we should know how much is good and where to stop. Since there's no ever-lasting banquet, nor is there an endless love story, we should take the gains and losses of love with perfect composure. There's fragrant grass in every corner of the earth, and you can always find your love in this world.

One day the phone rang, and the mother picked it up and said, “Hello?”
It was the girl! The mother started to cry and said, “You don?'t know? He passed away yesterday…”
The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. Later in the day, the mother went into the boy?'s room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet.
She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all these CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one. Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it. It said: Hi… I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.
The mother was deeply moved and opened another CD…
Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi… I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.
Love is… when you?'ve had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, “I Love You. ”

英語演講稿10
I like reading books very much, because there are lots of interesting things in them.
Two years ago, I didn't like reading very much. I had plenty of time, but I spent lots of time on playing with computers. When I was very young, I didn't think reading book was interesting, because I found nothing more interesting than the computer games.
I've changed now. I enjoy reading novels, because there're lots of interesting stories. I love to read Harry Potter. That's a good novel. I know that it is one of the best-sellers in England. I'm always lose myself in the interesting stories.
I hate the words like "to be continued" in a novel. That makes me very sad, because I don't know the end of the story. I also hate the words like "the end", because I want to read more. Some of my friends think that I'm strange.
Maybe you can find the interesting things in a book, so don't waste your time in the computers any more. If you read very much, you抣l get lots of knowledge.

親愛的老師和同學(xué)們:

英語演講稿12
It is to get along with each other. Family love, fraternal love and amatory love are three main human feelings. if handled well, they can bring us extreme happiness, while handled improperly, will bring us great sufferings.
The present society is a world of dazzling money and dwindling human feeling contacts. Most people hold a snobbish attitude. They only make friends with people of wealth and of high social status. Just as zhen shiyen said in his expounding of the song “all good things must end” in a dream of the red mansions “while men with gold and silver by the chest, turn beggars scorned by all and dispossessed”. frankly speaking, however, if we regard money the first thing in whichever one of the three kinds of loves, it will depreciate and even become worthless.
Love can not pretend, nor can it tolerate too much selfish motives. I is reported that an old man in jiangsu province left his million yuan heritage to his young housekeeper instead of his own children, because his own children didn't take care of him while the young housekeeper accompanied him through his last lonely and helpless years.
英語演講稿13
My ideal school.
I hope my ideal school starts at 8. 30 a. m. because l like to get up late. I hope my ideal school finishes at 4. 30 p. m. So l can have lots of time to have a rest and do some after-school activities.
My ideal school is very large, it has three tall buildings , a big dining hall, a tennis court, a big playground and a park.
We have an hour for lunch, we can eat delicious food and chat with each other in the big dining hall. We can also listen to pop music here.
We have Math lesson everyday because l like Math very much. I also like English, so we have English everyday. We needn’t wear school uniform. The classes are quite small, there are about 15 students in each class.
We have activities after school once a week. At the weekend, we needn’t do much homework. Everymonth, we go on a school trip to Shanghai orSuzhou.
英語演講稿14
Good morning everybody! It's my honor to speak here, and I am very glad to share my topic with you. Then today I'd like to talk something about which is more important, time or money. Some people often say:“money is more important than time. ”they think that if people have money. They can buy clothes, foods, drinks, houses, cars, computers and so o n. But l don’t think so. Because when time is gone we can't get it back. But we can keep on making more money. We can use time to get money. However we can’t use money to get time. Lost wealth maybe replaced by industry. Lost knowledge by study. Lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone for ever. I cannot afford to waste my time making money. So I think time is more important than money. We must make full use of our time to study and work. Each moment in history is a fleeting time, precious and unique.
英語演講稿15
Psychologist tell us that stress is a state of worry caused by the problem of living , such as too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life .
Statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life . Financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now suffering . As students in the university , we are also under our special stress . While study , having to take various tests and submit a project against a deadline may put a great pressure on us . And the things make us felt stressed may be our parents's greater expectations on us than we could reach . Later , when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us . I think we will worry a lot about our ability to compete in the job market and how we can best use what we've learned at college in our future job .
The chief problem we should face to is our atitude towards stress . People usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress . It's unwelcome ! Yes , however , very necessary . Just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way . But is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? Without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things . Too much satisfaction result in nothing except a countermarch of the society . No stress , no development . So a certain amount of stress is good . It can stimulate us and increase our level of alertness .
And our answer to stress is another vital problem . How to do with ourselves when stress suddenly break into our life ? To wave the white flag and admit our unability , to give up to our ideality , or worstly , just to suicide as to put an end to everything. Of cause not . The principle is to tackle with stress gentlely and harmoniously. We should try our best to release ourselves . Such as to do some exercise , to linsen to traditional Chinese music or classical music to ease our minds and to learn to view these changes of life as challenges . It's no use crying over spilt milk . Only to accept what has happened can solve the problem .
