十二月集體備課教案

Grade 6   Unit3 Dream   Ⅰ.Teaching Aims. Teaching content (Page 31) Part 2: Listen and fill in the children’s names: Angela, Tim, Simon, Sue. Part 3: Write sentences about the children. 1. Knowledge aims. ①Master three new words: comics, autographs and postcards. ②Review three words they have learned: stickers, football pictures and stamps. ③Can use two new sentence patterns: Sb collects / doesn’t collect sth. 2. Ability Aims. ①Improve students’ ability of understanding, listening, writing and spoken English. ②Get fun from English studying.  Ⅱ.Teaching important points. Students can understand the sentences in part 2 and fill in four children’s names. Ⅲ. Teaching difficult points. Students can write down the sentences about the children in part 3. Ⅳ.Teaching aids: Teaching cards, student cards and tape recorder.   Ⅴ.Teaching process Step1. Warming up/Review 1. The teacher greets with pupils: Hello, boys and girls! Nice to meet you. What day is it today? How are you feeling today? (Ss answer :…) 2. Teacher: I like stickers. who can guess what do i collect?   Students: I collect…() Step2. New content presentation 1.      Students show their cards: comics, autographs, football pictures, stickers, stamps and postcards and talk about it. Then teach the three new words: comics, autographs and postcards. 2.      Students using cards practice the sentence pattern in their groups, then each group have a show time.(control the time of this part in 5 minutes) 3.      Teacher helps students to talk about the others’ favorite thing: … collects… (practice between groups) 4.      Teacher tells students how to do exercise 2 and read four names together. 5.      Listen to the tape for two times and do it, then check the answers. Step3. Practice. 1.      Students look at their books, teacher says: Angela collects comics and stamps. So She doesn’t collect stickers, football pictures, autographs or postcards. Practice the pronunciation of doesn’t, then read one group by group.(Stress the using of or)(practice the words football pictures/autographs/postcards several times) 2.      Practice the sentences: Sb doesn’t collect… between patterns, then have a show time. 3.      Students try to do part 3: Write sentences about the children. 4.      Check the answers. 5.      Read the sentences together. Step4. Homework. 1.      Copy the sentences in part 3 and try to make three new sentences. 2.      Prepare part 4: Listen to the tape and colour the numbers.
