Unit 2 What time is it ? (簡案) Part B Let’s talk Students: Grade 4 Teacher: 南城陽光一小 章希凡 I. Teaching aims 1.The main task: Pupils will be able to talk about their timetables in daily life . 2. Language focus: Pupils will be able to use the following words and patterns properly and freely when they talk about their timetables: What time is it? It’s ---o’clock. It’s time to/ for ---. Hurry! 3.Affection and attitude: Through drama activities(including games, chant, role-play, imitating, acting and poem reading), pupils will have stronger self-confidence and interest in English. II. Teaching contents: 1. Words: hurry, ready, oops(之前略有接觸) 2. Patterns: What time is it? It’s ---o’clock. It’s time to/ for ---. (前面幾節(jié)課有出現(xiàn)過,但學(xué)生還不能運用自如) III. Difficult points: Difference between “time to”and “time for”. IV. Teaching procedure: Step1. Warming-up 1.Free talk: (通過free talk,整體呈現(xiàn)表達時間和活動的重點句型,讓學(xué)生在真實的語境中聽說這些句子,使學(xué)生加深理解并初步學(xué)會用這些句型來交際。) What time is it? Is it time to---? It’s time for English. What can we do in English classes? 2. Talking about my watches and clocks: (在談?wù)摾蠋煹氖直砗顽姷倪^程中,復(fù)習(xí)了時間的表達法,再次讓學(xué)生感受“It’s time to/ for---”等句型。) First,look at my special watches and clocks. Which one do you like? Why?What time is it? It’s---. Maybe it’s time to / for-----. Step2. Presentation and practice 1. Let’s chant: (Objective: Compare “time to” with “time for”. ) Listen to the chant.----------Chant together-------Conclusion ------Fill in the blanks with“to / for”. 2. Miming game: (Objective: Practice “What time is it” and “expression of time and activities.” Encourage pupils to act. ) A: “What time is it”? B: It’s ---o’clock. A: It’s----o’clock.
