good afternoon, ladies and gentleman! first i want to say is that i’m very proud of to be invited to to present my topic here, which is “ internet civilization”.
before i begin my topic, please allow me to ask you a question: every time you click the mouse to surf the web, do you know what does it mean?
on the net, you can make friends overseas and call them with ip phones; you can get information from all over the world; you can even give a hand to some people in troubles and get help when in need.
however, we have to admit that internet also leads to intimacy before acquaintance; it scatters secrets outwards, not inwards; and, most worrying of all, it is a vehicle for liars.
here we should see, there exists good and evil, right and wrong on the web. as netizens, we’d better grow to realize the importance of internet civilization.
just as the famous saying goes “l(fā)ong and steep is the path to virtue.” many people advocate that we should be sincere, honest and responsible in our society—the real world. now, what i want to add is that we also should obey the primary moral principles in this virtual world.

文明素來(lái)是中華民族代代相傳的傳統(tǒng)美德，作為新時(shí)代的接-班人，我們要繼承傳統(tǒng)、倡導(dǎo)文明、講究禮儀、樹(shù)立新風(fēng)。
civilization is always the traditional virtues of the chinese nation be handed down from age to age, as a new era of successors, we must inherit the tradition, advocate of civilization, courtesy, establishing new practice.
中國(guó)是一個(gè)有著五千年歷史的文明古國(guó)，中華民族素來(lái)是一個(gè)溫文爾雅、見(jiàn)義勇為、謙恭禮讓的文明之邦。華夏兒女的舉手投足，音容笑貌無(wú)一不體現(xiàn)一個(gè)人的氣質(zhì)與素養(yǎng)。荀子云：不守禮無(wú)以立，人無(wú)禮則不生，事無(wú)禮則不成，目無(wú)禮則不寧。文明禮儀是我們學(xué)習(xí)的根基，是我們健康成長(zhǎng)的臂膀。
china is a big country with a long history of ancient civilization, the chinese nation has always been a refined and cultured, do boldly what is righteous, humility comity and civilized state. china children's behavior, one's voice and expression does not reflect a person's temperament and accomplishment. xun ziyun: no good manners not to legislate, people are not rude health, things are not rude, orders are not rude ning. civilized etiquette of our study is a foundation, is the healthy growth of our arms.
我國(guó)教育家陶行知先生有一句名言：千教萬(wàn)教人求真，千學(xué)萬(wàn)學(xué)學(xué)做真人。說(shuō)的是教師首先要教育學(xué)生做一個(gè)真誠(chéng)的人。而學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)也應(yīng)該首先學(xué)會(huì)做人，學(xué)做文明之人。只有這樣，我們才能做到“愛(ài)國(guó)守法，明誠(chéng)禮信，團(tuán)結(jié)友善，勤儉自強(qiáng)”。
china educator mr. tao xingzhi had a famous saying: thousand teach million teaches truth, thousand learn ten thousand learn to be reality. that is the teacher first to educate the students to be a true man. and the students also should first learn to be, learn to do civilized people. only in this way, we can achieve the " patriotic and law-abiding, in courtesy letter, friendliness, diligence and self-improvement ".
