　　Some people think lucky numbers like "6" or "8" will bring them good luck, because they bare a similar pronunciation to the related Chinese characters which mean good luck. As a result, some young couples choose a date in which there is a "6" or an "8" to hold their wedding, while many shops choose such dates to celebrate their opening ceremony.些人認(rèn)為諸如“6”和“8”之類(lèi)的數(shù)字能給他們帶來(lái)好運(yùn)，因?yàn)樗鼈兊陌l(fā)音和漢語(yǔ)中某些詞匯的發(fā)音相似，而這些詞在漢語(yǔ)中意味著好運(yùn)。因此，許多年輕人會(huì)挑一個(gè)帶“6”或“8”的日子來(lái)安排婚禮；一些商店也如此去選擇開(kāi)業(yè)。 However, it's rather ridiculous to think numbers can bring good fortune to people. One's success has nothing to do with the number which one chooses, but is rather related to one's own efforts. Numbers are only numbers. We should not attach too much importance to them. If you really think a lucky number can bring good luck to you, simply choose it, but don't forget to still go out of your way to make your own effort.
