You have put your finger on it.

put your finger on it You have put your finger on it." You have hit the mark with a single comment."、"You have come to the point."。

Jane: Wilson gets promoted again for his hard working. He works until 10 p.m. everyday.

Shirley: You have put your finger on it. After all he has dedicated much more time and energy than us.

①He is a far-sighted man with high ambition.

②Attitude is no less important than aptitude.

、跘 task can not be done perfectly without passion.

、蹸ontribution to the company is the key factor to promotion.

  1. hit the mark

Your answer just hit the mark.

So dare to be quiet, allow the audience enough time to respond and your humor will hit the mark.

  2. dedicate vt.

Bessie has dedicated her life to caring for others.

This book is dedicated to the memory of my mother.

  3. aptitude n.

  1. You're in the pink!

You're in the pink!"

  2. He is bouncy.

I get mind of you"比"I heard a lot about you."

  3. Did you get lost?

若說"Did you get lost?",則更能讓他感到歉疚,可千萬別說成"Get lost!",那可是讓人滾蛋的意思。

  4. Do you have the time?

  別人征求你的意見,問能否開窗戶等,你要是說"You can do that." Do you have the time?" May I have your name?"要比"What's your name?"

  5. I would rather not say.

It's my secret, don't ask such a personal question." I would rather not say."(還是別說了吧)。

  6. It's on the tip of my tongue.

Well…"、"Let me see."、"Just a moment."或"It's on the tip of my tongue."

  7. While I remember…

To change the subject"、"Before I forget"、"While I remember"、"Mind you"都是既地道又受歡迎的表達。

  8. I got it.

用"I got it." I'm not clear about it."。 It's past my understanding."

  9. The meeting was scheduled for two hours, but it is not over yet.

  10. Would you care to see it/sit down for a while?

  11. I'm supposed to go on a diet/get a raise.

  12. I'm afraid that it's not going to work out.

  13. Do you mind if I take tomorrow off?

  14. It really depends on who is in charge.

15.I have a feeling that we’ve got bright future for us to cooperate within the field.

16.It’s good for us to be able to work together.

  17. I will assure you of our business.

18.It looks like we can expend our business with you.
