  【參考范文2】

Dear Chris,

How is it going? I’m writing to share a unique experience from our art class held in the park last Friday.

My painting features a small pond that mirrors the surrounding trees and flowers — a scene that left me in awe. The tranquility of the environment infused a sense of calm in me, something that I wanted to capture in my piece. Moreover, the experience reinforced my belief that art is not only a form of expression but also a bridge between the environment and our emotions.

Tell me what you think about my work attached. Looking forward to your reply.

  Yours sincerely,

  Li Hua

  讀后續(xù)寫:閱讀下面材料, 根據(jù)其內(nèi)容和所給段落開頭語續(xù)寫兩段, 使之構(gòu)成一篇完整的短文。

I met Gunter on a cold, wet and unforgettable evening in September. I had planned to fly to Vienna and take a bus to Prague for a conference. Due to a big storm, my flight had been delayed by an hour and a half. I touched down in Vienna just 30 minues before the departure of the last bus to Prague. The moment I got off the plane, I ran like crazy through the airport building and jumped into the first taxi on the rank without a second thought.

That was when I met Gunter. I told him where I was going , but he said he hadnt heard of the bus station. I thought my pronunciation was the problem, so I explained again more slowly, but he still looked confused. When I was about to give up, Gunter fished out his little phone and rang up a friend. After a heated discussion that lasted for what seemed like a century, Gunter put his phone down and started the car.

Finally, with just two minutes to spare we rolled into the bus station. Thankfully, there was a long queue still waiting to board the bus. Gunter parked the taxi behind the bus, turned around, and looked at me with a big smile on his face. "We made it, "he said.

Just then I realised that I had zero cash in my wallet. I flashed him an apologetic smile as I pulled out my Portuguese bankcard. He tried it several times, but the card machine just did not play along. A feeling of helplessness washed over me as I saw the bus queue thinning out.

At this moment, Gunter pointed towards the waiting hall of the bus station. There at the entrance, was a cash machine. I jumped out of the car, made a mad run for the machine, and popped my card in, only to read the message:"Out of order. Sorry."

Para1 I ran back to Gunter and told him the bad news.______________________________

I ran back to Gunter and told him the bad news. I finished my words with difficulty, stared at the card in my hand, and then looked up into his eyes with shame and embarrassment. To my surprise, Gunter comforted me with a big smile, which calmed me down. Plucking up my courage, I explained my situation to him and promised to pay off the fare and some extra tip four days later when I was back in Vienna. “No problem!” he smiled. Having left my phone number, I hurried to catch the bus. When I looked back, I saw him waving me goodbye.

Four days later, when I was back in Vienna, I called Gunter as promised. The moment I saw Gunter, I strode to him, and gathered him into my arms如"card""bus’ with a strong embrace. Happy and excited, He laughed and said he thought Ihis little phone wouldnt show up. I gave him some extra tip as promised but he refused. So I treated him to a cup of coffee instead. Before we parted that day, Gunter fished out his little phone again, patted on my shoulder and smiled “Lets take a picture together, my friend!” This photo is still on my desk today, which serves as a reminder of trusting others and offering kindness. Every time I think of cold, wet evening, a warm current still flows through my body.

  【參考范文2】

I ran back to Gunter and told him the bad news. My heart sank with every passing second. His smile faded, replaced by a look of concern. "Dont worry," he said reassuringly, "Well find a solution." Gunter, with his kind heart, suggested we ask around if anyone could help with a cash withdrawal. Miraculously, a kind traveler agreed to withdraw money for me in exchange for the equivalent in euros. With the freshly acquired cash, I paid Gunter, adding a generous tip for his unwavering help. As I boarded the bus, he waved, his smile brighter than ever, "Safe travels!"

Four days later, when I was back in Vienna, I called Gunter as promised. His voice, warm and familiar, greeted me on the other end of the line. I thanked him once more for his incredible kindness and insisted on meeting him to return the` favor. We met at a local café, where I presented him with a small token of appreciation-a book on Prague, where our unlikely journey had aimed. Over steaming cups of coffee, we shared stories and laughter, forging a friendship born out of a stormy nights chaos. Gunters act of kindness had not only gotten me to my destination but had also opened doors to a friendship that transcendeds borders.

Dear Jim,

I hope you are doing well. Delighted to hear that you are writing an article for Asia Today about the 75th anniversary of New China, I am writing to share my suggestions.

It is a good option to write about Chinas fast economic growth. Over the past 75 years, China has changed from a farming country to the worlds second-largest economy, showing how quickly China has developed. Another helpful strategy is focusing on Chinas amazing new technology, such as high-speed trains, space exploration, and renewable energy, all of which show that China is now a leader in technology and innovation. If I were you, I would discuss Chinas efforts to reduce poverty, which have lifted millions of people out of poverty and improved the lives of many people.

These points not only highlight important achievements but also help readers understand how China has become such an important country.I hope these suggestions help! If you need more information, feel free to ask.

  【參考范文1】

Dear teachers and fellow students,

Im excited to share with you my thoughts on creating a low carbon campus. First of all, we must acknowledge that our school still has many areas that do not align with the low carbon environmental concept. For example, unnecessary waste of paper, misuse of electricity, and the neglect of recycling bins are all common occurrences.

To make a positive change, we should start with small actions around us. For instance, we can reduce paper waste by using both sides of the paper when taking notes, turning off lights and electrical appliances when they are not needed, and actively participating in recycling programs.

I encourage everyone to take action and join hands to make our campus a greener and more sustainable place. Lets all play our part in building a low carbon campus, starting from ourselves. Thank you!

  【參考范文2】

Dear Schoolmates,

As a member of Chenguang Middle School, I feel it a privilege to address an issue that concerns us all—our commitment to a low-carbon campus.Despite our continuous efforts, we still witness phenomena that contradict the principles of low-carbon living, such as excessive use of disposable items and wasteful consumption of water and electricity.

It is high time that we commenced with the small actions. Always remember to turn off unnecessary lights, use digital notes instead of paper, and recycle diligently. Actually, each of us can be a change-maker by making these simple adjustments to our daily lives and small changes in our daily routines can make an unbelievably great difference.

Thus I appeal to each and every one of you to join me in this endeavor. Lets take the initiative to reduce our carbon footprint and make our campus a beacon of sustainability. Together, we can transform our campus into a greener, cleaner place.

  Thank you.

  第一段續(xù)寫部分

I can’t remember the exact words of what I said to him then. It’s a bit of a blur.

It goes something like this ‘I know Gunter we’ve just met. But I really need to get on this bus. Otherwise I have to spend the night here which will be bloody expensive. I have to buy a new bus ticket tomorrow morning. I know we’ve just met but I am going to be back in Vienna in 4 days time. If it’s ok with you I can pay you the money then. I’ll add an extra 10 euros for your hassle.’ Then an uncomfortable pause as I analyse Gunter’s face for his reaction. Then the impossible happened. He nodded his head simply. ‘It’s cool. I accept this solution and trust you. Give me zee name of your hotel and we can meet there.’ I look at him. Biggest smile you can imagine. I give him the name of my hotel and we exchange phone numbers. I board the bus and give him a big huge wave to my newest friend on planet earth.

  第二段續(xù)寫部分

  4 days later….

I am back in Vienna to attend the Wiener Wiesn Festival. As promised, I call Gunter. He’s happy to hear from me. We meet at the airport where he works from. We embrace like long lost friends.

Gunter tells me that he wasn’t sure if I was going to show up but was happy to hear my voice when I called him. I gave Gunter the extra 10 tip I had promised which he would not accept. He told me to call him , the next time I was in Vienna and buy him a beer. Which I happily agreed to. If my faith in humanity was wavering, Gunter restored it.

Things have changed since we were kids. They tell me that fairytales exist no more. Well. They are wrong. Fairytales DO exist. Thanks to the invisible knights in shining armour. Call them angels or kindred spirits. They exist in this world. We just don’t see them. Like the anonymous taxi driver who you meet at the airports of this world. Like my anon Gozitan taxi driver or indeed Gunter. Definitely, the nicest, the best taxi driver you will meet in Vienna and maybe Austria.

Im a high school student. I want to do some cooking, but my parents dont allow meto do so. How can I change their mind?

  【參考范文】

Dear Alice,

I’m writing in response to your letter seeking advice on how to convince your parents to let you cook. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when you are not allowed to pursue your hobby, so I’d like to offer you some suggestions.

To begin with, it’s sensible to start from a heart-to-heart conversation with your parents. Parents may have their own concerns. They may worry about how the hobby will influence your academic performance. So you’d better explain to them why you want to cook and how it can be a valuable life skill. Assure them that you’ll strike a balance between leisure and study, as well as take all necessary safety measures so as to ease their worries. Moreover, you could invite your parents to cook with you together. On one hand, they can be there to provide instructions and assistance in the kitchen. On the other hand, sharing the cuisines can be a golden chance for a family gathering. Only when they see how dedicated you are with their own eyes can you truly win their favor and support.

I believe, with a little effort and patience, you will be able to convince your parents. After all, they definitely care about you. So good luck and enjoy your cooking journey!

  Yours,

  Li Ming
