國慶赴書城
欣逢國慶,便邀上三五好友同赴上海書城。
On the occasion of National Day, I invited my friends to Shanghai Book City.
書城早已是人山人海。尋覓好久,才找到一本《哈里·波特》!靶U精致的!币蝗苏f。我可是半點興趣也無:也就只是個小巫師而已,咱中國古書堆里的“巫師”可多得很,法力也強(qiáng)多了。又有人去買《我為歌狂》,只見那里已排起長隊。不經(jīng)意一瞥,又看見什么“我為畫狂”之類的狂書。金庸筆下有個楊過,是為愛而狂,想不到當(dāng)今世人勝古人多矣,不論甚么東西,皆可瘋狂一番,于是中國又現(xiàn)狂人。逛了一圈,前些時候非常流行的《奶酪》已經(jīng)不見蹤影,不知被哪些勤勞可愛的“老鼠”搶購空了,可我卻聞到了那陣陣余香--現(xiàn)在的人們總是這樣:有看不完的書,讀不完的報,學(xué)不完的知識,充不完的電。這大概也是順乎時代之潮流吧。

又來到古籍書柜。見到好多戴深度眼鏡,一本正經(jīng)的老先生搖頭晃腦,深思熟慮倒不足為奇?尚Φ氖蔷挂灿泻枚啻骺ㄍ,嘻嘻哈哈的低齡兒童東翻一本,西翻一本的扎在古書堆里,確實令我大吃一驚。雖說古代小兒多能誦詩吟詞,近代又有個還珠樓主五歲寫出萬言《一字論》,但這碧眼小兒……我定睛一看,他隨手抽出一本《西游記》,只看封面,欣喜若狂,大呼:“我要買!”他家長皺眉道:“不是買過了嗎?”可那孩子又變本加厲:“我還要再買一套四大名著!”殊不知,書中的孫行者哪如電視中的孫猴兒這般好玩?何況你認(rèn)得“西游記”那三個字已是不容易的了,更別說“紅樓水滸”了。只可惜他知道四大名著是四部書,可不只是這《西游記》,便報起它們走向收銀臺。他這一飽,也不知抱出多少“有三十六年不得見”者。

是阿!這帖子是國之重寶,可又有多少人親眼看過?難道只知道這個名字,就可以跟上時代之發(fā)展?!有多少人自以為只知道一點皮毛,就可以學(xué)冠古今?更可笑的是,每當(dāng)有一種新的事物出現(xiàn)時,我們偶爾或許會被它吸引。但當(dāng)它已經(jīng)成為陳詞濫調(diào),明日黃花時,我們的熱情依舊不減,不是因為它本身的價值,而是它曾經(jīng)轟動一時,甚至有些人根本不去管它的內(nèi)容與實質(zhì),但求以買過而看過而領(lǐng)悟過而能跟上時代發(fā)展。我但愿這些濫調(diào)不再吹出,縱使吹出的是仙樂,也要有人真正領(lǐng)悟--一樣事物之所以存在,只因它能令人陶醉。
Yeah! This post is a national treasure, but how many people have seen it personally? Can we keep up with the development of the times only by knowing this name?! 國慶放假本是好的,可是我們有看不完的書,讀不完的報,學(xué)不完的知識,充不完的電--這當(dāng)然僅指上述之類而言--那么,這不就是一種迂腐的表現(xiàn)嗎?中國人何必再酸上幾千年呢?
National Day holiday is good, but we have endless books, endless newspapers, endless knowledge, endless electricity - this only refers to the above, of course - then, is this not a kind of pedantic performance? Why should the Chinese people be sour for thousands of years?
