例文 :My View on Developing Private Cars 我對(duì)私家車的看法
People s views on private cars vary from person to person. Some people think that it is an inevitable tendency to develop private cars. They hold this opinion because private cars are popular in advanced countries. In their opinion, China will also be an advanced country and Chinese people should have private cars. However, others hold that we should not follow the example of foreign countries and should not develop private cars at the expense of the environment.
As to me, I am in favor of the second idea. The following are the reasons for my personal inclination.
First, while it is true that most people have private cars in advanced countries, it doesnt mean that since our country has become prosperous, our people should also have private cars. We should be environment-conscious and should make full use of public transport. Besides, our country is still a developing country and some frontier and inland areas are still very poor and backward. We should develop these areas first. Admittedly some rich people can have private cars before others can, but this is not to say that private cars should be popularized and that every family should own a car.

汽車英語(yǔ)作文2
Many years ago, I saw an interesting movie. It pictured the future life that people could fly in the sky by cars. Of course, I dont think it will happen in the coming time.
The change in cars is about the energy. It is said that the cars will use both electricity and gasoline, which can reduce pollution.
I think it is a great change for cars. More and more people have cars now and the gas they release brings heavy pollution to the air, which damages our health. The cars can use electricity in the long trip. When it runs out of it, then gasoline can be a substitute.
汽車英語(yǔ)作文3
Along with the economic growth, private cars have penetrated into a wealth of citizens lives because of its convenience features. Undoubtedly, the widespread use of cars promotes the social productivity and enhances the economic development. But we are supposed to weigh strengths and weaknesses of the popularity of cars. With the growing prevalence of vehicles, a host of problems have emerged.
To begin with, car emissions are having an immeasurable effect on the worlds climate. Solid scientific evidence can confirm this harm. Secondly, because the car depends so heavily on fossil fuels, it is a major source of carbon dioxide that causes global warming. Additionally, soaring ownership of cars puts tremendous pressure on the limited capacity of current transport system. There is a heavy urban traffic flow with frequent traffic jam. These harmful side effects of autos burden our society with unacceptable costs to human health, the environment, and our economy.

A Bus or a Can?
“Good heavens!”I always sigh with relief when I get off Bus No. 65.
There are many stories of sadness and sorrows about Bus No. 65, which I take every day on my way to school.
It is usual for me to wait for over ten minutes at the bus stop without seeing a bus coming during the rush hour. This causes more and more people to gather. Among them are those rushing to work, peasants going to the railway station with heavy luggage and students going to school with schoolbags on their shoulders.
When finally a bus arrives, people will force their way into it when it is still moving. The doors open, men try hard to be the first to get on. They don't even wait for the passengers on the bus to get off!
In a while, the bus is filled again. It is so full that the conductor has difficulty closing the doors. A few people are forced to step off. Even so, the doors still can not close fast. So some warm-hearted men have to push hard on the backs of the few who are only half in and kick the doors close.
Sometimes it is impossible for you to buy a ticket, for if you try toturn around it will cause complaints from others. I often feel as if I were so tightly tied that I were almost out of breath. Complaints, cries, angry curses① and quarrels soon fill my ears.
“I'm almost breathless!” an old lady murmurs.
“My handbag! Where is it? ”shouts someone.
“Move a bit, can't you? You're stepping on my toe!”another cries angrily.
“Why on earth do you push your elbow ② against my stomach?”still another protests③.
“Those villagers! Throw them out! See how many big bags they carry with them!”Many shout in one voice.
Babies let out screams of frights and sufferings.
Although I am so used do quarrels that I am almost not caring about them, yet I very much wish I could turn my ears away from these noises. I can't help wondering whether I am one of the sardines ④ packed tightly in a can.
When at last I am pushed on the bus by the gate of my school, I am often troubled by such a question,“When will all my sufferings of taking Bus No. 65 end?”

It is easier to take buses as means of city traffic than the subway trains because buses dont need special roads. But buses have also many disadvantages, some of which are very serious. They may cause louder noise and more traffic accidents. Buses give rise to serious air pollution and traffic jam. In order to stop what buses cause, a large amount of hand must be used to widen the roads. On the contrary, the subway train is of more advantages. Except the difficulty and high cost of building the subway, it is superior to the buses in many aspects.

The number of people that are killed or badly injured in car accidents is so vast that we dont even bother to mention them in the newspapers anymore. Fully half of these fatalities come from drunk drivers, and many others from carelessness. A smart car could eliminate most of these car accidents. It can sense if a driver is drunk via electronic sensors that can pick up alcohol vapor in the air, and refuse to start up the engine. The car could also alert the police and provide its precise location if it is stolen.

As we all know, the bike advances slowly by manpower, but it can be placed wherever it is convenient However, as for the car, although it can run fast by engine, it must be parked at parking places.
Most Americans live in the suburb which is far from urban areas and their working places. So they need cars to go shopping and go to work. And they also like traveling far. Thus a car brings them great convenience. On the contrary, most Chinese live near their working areas and markets. They dont need a car to go to work or go shopping.

Car and Air Pollution
Too many cars have caused a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities.
One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as petrol. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. Thus, the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.
On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

Private cars have entered Chinese families.More and more people drive to work in their own cars. And it seems a trend that all can possess a family car in the future.
But is it really good to have a car?Owning a car means spending time and money buying, learning to drive and repairing it.So you seem to pay a lot for a big trouble.Besides,if every family has a car, what will the road be like?Crowded?Jammed with...Oh,my God!
Family cars are intended to be convenient, but will it really bring convenience to the everyday life in a country with such a large population? Moreover, driving cars will be very likely make people sit all the time without any exercises. It will do harm to the physical body.Comparatively, riding bicycles is much better and economical. So,I think,it is not appropriate for China to popularize family cars in the near future, especially in our big densely-populated cities.

My View on Developing the Car Industry
With the development of modern industry, more and more families are able to have their own cars. But,seeing the problems like air pollution and the reduction of resources, some people appeal for the reduction of private cars.Still,I think there is every reason for the even faster development of the car industry.
Thanks to the development of the car industry, we do not have to cram in the buses, but can enjoy free travel in our. own cars, we can go to more places in a leisure way. Transportation becomes comfortable and easy. But there are those who worry that too many cars may cause more traffic problems, serious:air pollution and the exhaustion ofresources, While these problems may be true, they can be solved and some are being solved. For example, we can invent cars that: can save fuel or use other types of energy so that cars can still ‘be used even though resources run short. To reduce pollution, people have manufactured many cars without pollution. We can relieve the traffic pressure by building more and more roads or-adopt computer-monitored automated highways.
For all the contemporary problems cars bring, no one can deny the convenience cars bring us and ignore the effort We make to solve these problems. Therefore, the development of the car industry is necessary, and it should develop as quickly as possible.

Riding bicycles can free riders from several troubles when traffic is heavy. First, riders need not elbow their way up into a crowded bus. Second, they can go wherever they please when numerous vehicles hold up the traffic. Third, bicycling does much good to the health of regular riders (常騎車的人). Finally, riding bicycles is eco friendly(有利生態(tài)的`,有利環(huán)保的).
While bicycles are hailed as "green traffic", urban drivers are complaining about them jamming up the already tight traffic. A boiling sea of bicycles have become a headache for causing traffic jams and accidents. The problem of bicycles battling with cars is mingled with (混合) high level of urbanization (都市化) and low level of infrastructure(基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施).
In my opinion, the tough problem must be solved, otherwise, the growing conflict will steadily grow worse with more automobiles on busy streets.
Road building and traffic control should be improved. In the long run bicycling will still be a necessary and economical supplement to the various modes of public transport provided in China the kingdom of bicycles.

indispensable part of peoples lives,so that more and more people have a car of their own, especially in cities. It brings some benefits for us but also causes many problems at the same time. For one thing, there ’ s no doubt that cars provide much convenience for people to go where they want to quickly and easily. Especially on weekday, driving a car can save a lot of time for us to go to work. When some places are too far away from our home, driving our own car is also convenient, we can go wherever we want.
However, for another, too many cars will lead to the pressure of public transport, a series of problems will appear.First of all,it will bring about more air pollution,a large amount of polluted
air given off by cars do great harm to our health. What ’s more, as the existing roads are not so
wide for the increasing number of cars, undoubtedly, traffic jams will become more and more
serious. Last but not least, cars also place burden on the public facilities in providing more parking lots. As far as I am concerned, everything has its advantages and disadvantages. It ’ s high time that
effective action must be token to limit the ever growing number of cars, the government should take measures to control the air pollution from the cars. Some roads should be widened and more new roads should be constructed. Only in this way ,will people benefit from the popularity of cars.
