Looking around, you will find interesting difference between people’s pace of life. Some are always in a hurry and try toget everything done as soon as possible, while some other people always take their time and lead their life in a slow pace. What do you think is better? Inmy opinion, different life paces reflect various life concepts and both type shave advantages and disadvantages.
One the one hand, people living a fast pacelife are easier to get success. The people who are got used to in a hurry allthe time will have more time to do the things that they want. And most of the mare active. They have more opportunity to enjoy the happiness of success. However, they also lose something when they are hurry to pursue success. They forget to stop to enjoy life itself or treasure the beautiful scenery in theirlife. As a result, those people always have lots of success, but lack of love.
On the other hand, people who living a slow pace always can enjoy their life and be happy. The slow coaches always are more tolerant to themselves and others. They would have less stress for themselves, which may bring better mental and physical health. If they don’t push themselves to finish task, they will have more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery around their life and taste life. But, this kind of people will have less chance to be successful, because they don’t put their mind on it.
To sum up, the pace of life just is people’schoice. It is their life concept. There is nothing good or bad. But as for me,I may prefer a slower pace of life. It is just personal hobby.
"Oh, dear! It's half past seven already. I'll be late again," I thought. Without breakfast, I hurried to school. But it began to rain hard.
When I got to the classroom, the maths teacher had already begun his lesson. It was Mr wang. All of us were afraid of him. I didn't like him, or his lessons. I opened the door. " I'm late again, Mr Wang." "I've told you not to be late, but you ..." he said angrily. But suddenly he stopped, and looked at my clothes. He quickly took off his own jacket and handed it to me. "Now take off your wet coat and put shis one on." he said kindly.
It was a bit large for me, but I felt warm in it.
from the window of my room, i could see a tall cotton-rose hibiscus. in spring, when green foliage was half hidden by mist, the tree looked very enchanting dotted with red blossom. this inspiring neighbor of mine often set my mind working. i gradually regarded it as my best friend.
nevertheless, when i opened the window one morning, to my amazement, the tree was almost bare beyond recognition as a result of the storm ravages the night before. struck by the plight, i was seized with a sadness at the thought all the blossom is doomed to fall. i could not help sighing with emotion: the course of life never runs smooth, for there are so many ups and downs, twists and turns. the vicissitudes of my life saw my beloved friends parting one after another. isn’t it similar to the tree shedding its flowers in the wind?
this event faded from my memory as time went by. one day after i came home from the countryside, i found the room stuffy and casually opened the window. something outside caught my eye and dazzled me. it was a plum tree all scarlet with blossom set off beautifully by the sunset. the surprise discovery overwhelmed me with pleasure. i wondered why i had no idea of some unyielding life sprouting over the fallen petals when i was grieving for the hibiscus.
when the last withered petal dropped, all the joyful admiration for the hibiscus sank into oblivion as if nothing was left, until the landscape was again ablaze with the red plum blossom to remind people of life’s alternation and continuance. can’t it be said that life is actually a symphony, a harmonious

The joyous Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth moon around the time of the autumn equinox. Many referred to it simply as the "Fifteenth of the Eighth Moon".
This day was also considered as a harvest festival since fruits vegetables and grain had been harvested by this time and food was abundant. Food offerings were placed on an altar set up in the courtyard. Apples pears peaches grapes pomegranates melons oranges and pomelos might be seen. Special foods for the festival included moon cakes cooked taro and water caltrope a type of water chestnut resembling black buffalo horns. Some people insisted that cooked taro be included because at the time of creation taro was the first food discovered at night in the moonlight. Of all these foods it could not be omitted from the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The round moon cakes measuring about three inches in diameter and one and a half inches in thickness resembled Western fruitcakes in taste and consistency. These cakes were made with melon seeds lotus seeds almonds minced meats.
