Everybodyhas his on family. hat is family ? I don’t think everyone reallyknos. There are six letters in the ord “ FAMILY ”. I think “ F ”means “father”, “A” means “and”, “ M ” means “mother” , “ I ” means“ I”, “ L”means “ love” and “ Y ” means “you”. So “ FAMILY ” is the short formof “ Father and mother , I love you.” Don’t you think so ? Father andmother love us , and e love father and mother . That’s a happy family.

I have reason to support my view. Foreignstudents may find it very helpful to further improve their language skills in amixed class. Provided that their Chinese is competent enough to follow thelectures, a mixed class furnishes them with a golden opportunity to brush uptheir Chinese proficiency and understand Chinese people. Only in this way canthey get into closer contact with Chinese. Coming from afar, they are reluctantto be separated and treated as “ foreigners”. Hence to their benefits, weshould not set barriers for their deeper involvement. Only by mixing withChinese students can they gain a better knowledge of Chinese culture.
我有理由來(lái)支持我的觀點(diǎn)，外國(guó)學(xué)生會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)在混合班能夠更進(jìn)一步提高語(yǔ)言能力。假若他們的中文能力足夠應(yīng)付聽課，那么混合班就給他們提供了一個(gè)絕好的機(jī)會(huì)去熟練地復(fù)習(xí)中文，還能夠了解中國(guó)人。只有用這種方法他們才能加緊與中國(guó)的'聯(lián)系。從長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)來(lái)說(shuō)，他們也不想有隔閡，被當(dāng)做“外國(guó)人“。因此，為了他們的利益，為了他們更進(jìn)一步的提高，我們應(yīng)該消除障礙。只有在混合班他們才能更好地了解中國(guó)文化。
Taking into account of all these factors, wemay arrive at the conclusion that it is beneficial to adopt the practice of amixed class. A seemingly trivial event as it is in study, it may exert aprofound impact on both students’ individual life and cross-culturalcommunication.

Women seemed to be the least important creatures in the world in ancient times.At that time the criterion whether a woman is good or not is obedience. As time goes by,tremendous changes have happened to women＇s status, from women being permitted to receive education together with men to being able to go out to work in the society. Nowadays, such cases are ordinary that women compete with men,work with men,and even take the leadership.Wornen＇s status arrives at an unprecedented high level, which can be called as equality to some extent.
However, the situation is not so optimistic as the majority of women think. In effect, women are far from equal to men.Actually, men＇s superiority is inveterate, which can＇t be shaken overnight. Though the society keeps on saying women should be treated equally as men, the idea that men are better than women still exerts a subtle influence on people＇s minds. I don＇t think the concept is based on science. It can＇t be denied that men take a dominant position in strength, logical thinking etc., but there are characteristic advantages women have anyhow, in which men fail to contend with them. Consequently,men are no better than women. Policewomen, women pilots,and women astronauts.., all these will prove the ability women own to the public. As a result, women get more and more aware of their own values. Despite its hardships and high costs, lots of
them are trying their best to change the prejudice of the society.
However, what I want to point out here is that not only men have the prejudice, but some women themselves do too. Eyen those who claim to long for equality with men have the double standard of equality. On one hand, they demand equal opportunity; on the other hand, they take "lady first" for granted,considering that it is perfectly justified for men to open door for them, offer their own seats to them, pay for dinner for them.Does it make sense? How can you ask others to treat you equally while you yourself have admitted the inequality in advance?
In short, I think as long as our sense doesn＇t completely change, the real equality between men and women won＇t come.
